We decided with my family to experience the Greek Islands on a cruise with a sailing yacht for the first time, and (surprise!) we loved every second of it. We were kind of skeptical in the beginning because we never have had this experience before and there were kids involved. We chose a catamaran style yacht and decided to go with the Jewel because we loved the big spaces and cabins that it offered. It is a new Lagoon Catamaran clean, spacious, luxurious like a 5 star hotel but it will bring the best of the Aegean colors right next to you every single day. If there was a dreamy holiday for us and our kids well folks that would be it. The kids (and not only the kids) loved the fact that you could have fun activities in the sea like SUPing and snorkeling. Captain George was the anchor of our holiday, dependable and a seasoned skipper, he practically grew up in the seas from a family with a nautical tradition. When you are in the sea, being able to trust the captain is so, so important! It is going to be the main reason you can finally relax. And Cpt George, well George was that man! Always kind and ready to help making sure that the guests feel comfortable, informing on weather conditions and on how to plan the trip for the best cruise experience. I would listen to him because he knows the best spots, coves, beaches, islands and the conditions that affect them and that makes all the difference in the world, he knows what works and what will maximize the experience. And last but not least...Kate...Thank you Kate, you were a huge part of this stellar experience, we loved the fact that we never had to think about food in our holiday, we felt pampered and everything was delicious. In retrospect considering how things and prices have changed in these last years In Greece, this is what value for money is supposed to look like. 5 star experience! Thank you guys for unlocking a new way of experiencing Greece for us, we will see you next time!
